We primarily create with .925 sterling silver. We also design with copper and gold.

Our sterling silver is nickel-free. If you are not able to wear sterling silver, please contact us before placing your order. We carry alternative ear wire options in titanium and niobium, which are both nickel-free, hypoallergenic, and considered safe for sensitive ears. We are happy to switch ear wires on the dangle earring designs that can be converted.

We source our sterling silver and gold from Riogrande where ethical sourcing is an integral guiding principle for their business. We use recycled sterling silver in many of our designs.

Our primary gemstone sources include Riogrande and Intrinsic Trading, companies who value social responsibility, protecting the environment and their craftsman. Intrinsic Trading practices sustainable development, responsible manufacturing, and fair trade. Riogrande offers gemstones sourced from mines located in America, allowing them to provide a clear, documentable path from the mine to our bench. Their gems are mined, cut and processed under conditions that meet all standards for worker safety, environmental protection and responsible production.

We are the two artists/designers, and our four hands make all of our jewelry. We start with sheet metal or wire and use traditional metalsmithing techniques to saw, cut, texture, form, shape, file, solder, hammer, patina, tumble, and hand finish each unique piece.

We make our heavier weight chain and chain mail bracelets and necklaces by creating each individual link and toggle clasp from sterling silver wire. We also create gemstone chains with securely hand-wrapping sterling silver wire (a stronger, more reliable method than using beading wire). 

On more delicate necklaces or pendants we often use purchased sterling silver chains or combine them with our handmade gemstone link chains. We create our own secure sterling hook clasps and sometimes use purchased lobster clasps.

Generally orders ship in one to two days, orders made on Friday, Saturday or Sunday generally ship on Monday. Some items are made on demand and will take up to two weeks before shipping, please contact us if you need it sooner.
